Hillary in New Orleans

I think it is a good move on Hillary's part to attend The Black State of the Union Conference in New Orleans but I am wondering why Sen. Obama has opted out. I can only assume since primary in La where he won by 21% is over he no longer sees these people as important and is moving on.
